Whilst phone calls are vital, many will miss seeing their grandchild’s smiling faces, and a video call may make the day of someone who has only had physical contact with staff in masks and full body protective gear. Increased feelings of isolation, loneliness and confusion are likely. These measures are in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many people are being asked to self-isolate at home.
